A few images from some areas with older dwellings in Tianhe district, Guangzhou, China.

Guangzhou isn't a city known for it's nightlife but if your goal is to see slices of everyday life, the older parts of the city have a bustling nocturnal beat.

This small convenience store is part of a small section of older housing along the river. It is surrounded by new high rise apartment buildings and office space. Based on location alone, I assume it won't be around for many more years.
